Hi!!  I am Stephanie Sikora, natural light loving, adventure seeking, crafty and creative Brookfield, CT based photographer.  

I have always loved photography as art, but when my sweet little boy was born I found my passion for family and lifestyle photography.  Capturing special moments and milestone in your life is a privilege and I strive to tell your story, inspire, and create lasting memories through my photography.

I love to laugh and I thrive on the chaos and beauty of each session.  You will rarely hear me say "look at the camera and smile" - especially to the kids - because it's more fun to photograph their reaction when I ask if a bird just pooped on my head.  I love photographing your natural reactions to, "whisper the name of your favorite fruit in your partner's ear" or telling a reluctant child to be as serious as possible.  For some reason hearing, "whatever you do, do not smile" always gets a smile!  Some of my favorite photos are those where no one is actually looking at the camera.  That said, I do also know we all want that one great family shot for our wall and holiday cards so I make sure to get a few of those each session.  I have also had the honor of photographing large multi-generation families and there is a lot more planning and positioning that goes into that sort of session.  I am very patient and work as quickly as possible to get those shots before everyone is annoyed with having to stand around!  I look forward to each session and am always excited to try a new location and travel to meet new clients.  Contact me today and let's chat about what you are looking for in a photo session!
